When setting up a long suit

Even when setting up a suit, you need the lead to be in the long suit hand after you have played the short hand's last card in the suit.
If opponents know you have a long suit, they will often keep their master as long as possible. You might need an entry in a different suit to enjoy the established length. If you block the suit while setting it up, then you will need two side entries instead of one.
